General Terms and Conditions

1. Client Definition
The term “Client” refers to the individual or entity engaging Sunrise Scaffolding for services, as named on the quotation. If the Client is acting on behalf of another party, it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the third party is informed of and agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding to schedule a scaffold erection date, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. Changes to Scheduled Works
Any changes to confirmed erection or dismantling dates must be communicated with a minimum of two (2) full business days’ notice. Additional fees or charges may apply.
We kindly request five (5) business days’ notice for scaffold dismantling. Please note that Sunrise Scaffolding does not automatically dismantle scaffolds once the initial hire period has ended.

4. Hire Period
The hire period commences on the date the scaffold is erected and handed over to the Client.

5. Client Responsibility
The Client is responsible for keeping the scaffold equipment secure and under their control. They must also ensure compliance with all relevant work health and safety regulations regarding the use and operation of the equipment.

6. Site Readiness
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the work site is clear and ready for scaffold erection on the scheduled date.

7. Modifications by Third Parties
If the scaffold is altered, moved, or reconfigured by a person who is not an employee of Sunrise Scaffolding, the scaffold shall be deemed unsafe and unfit for use until it has been inspected and certified by Sunrise Scaffolding.

8. Engineering and Permit Requirements
The Client is liable for any engineering services required for design or permitting purposes.

Payment Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms
No deposit is required for scaffold erection. Full payment is due within seven (7) days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the erection. Invoices are generally issued the next business day following the erection.

2. Extended Terms for Proprietary Companies
Clients operating as proprietary companies who require extended payment terms must submit their request in writing via email prior to scheduling an erection date. Sunrise Scaffolding will endeavour to accommodate the client’s needs. If alternative payment terms and conditions are not submitted by the client prior to erection, standard 7-day terms will apply.

3. Dry Hire Invoicing
Invoices for dry hire arrangements are typically issued at the end of each month.

4. Late Payment Policy
If payment is not received by the due date, an initial reminder will be sent. If payment is not received within three (3) business days of the reminder, a late fee of 1.5% per month, charged weekly, may be applied to cover administrative costs.
In cases of ongoing non-payment, Sunrise Scaffolding reserves the right to modify the scaffold, rendering it unusable and unsafe. Charges will apply for the reinstatement of the scaffold.
The Client will also be liable for any legal and associated costs incurred in the recovery of overdue payments, including late fees.

5. Ongoing Hire Charges
Continued hire fees will apply under the following conditions:
- When the initial hire period has expired, and the scaffol
d is still required onsite.
- When an invoice remains unpaid after a reminder has been issued and the scaffold is modified but not removed.
- When scaffold removal is requested but delayed due to overdue payments. In such instances, Sunrise Scaffolding may decline to remove the scaffold until payment is received and hire charges will continue to accrue.

Sunrise Scaffolding are the difference when it comes to finishing on time, on budget with maximum onsite safety.
